Aloha Kuapa Isle Ohana,

Mahalo for the calls and inquiries regarding Spectrum internet service and HECO power services this past week. Residents has shared slow internet speed or no connection with Spectrum and flickering lights or no power with HECO. We have reached out to our utility representatives and here is the latest information regarding Kuapa Isle services. Both HECO and Spectrum have been on property servicing all the calls of down service this week and last week. They are actively working on the problem and you will see their vans on property, unannounced. HECO will also arrive unannounced and start cutting driveways to resolve the issue, when this happens please know management is not informed of their arrival and service plans and they will start repairs without our approval. Should they arrive at your carport please inquire with them and if you need to move your car please do so.

SPECTRUM:

We have received several reports that owners are experiencing issues with their Spectrum Services (internet/cable). We reached out to our contact at Spectrum and they advised for all service related issues, residents should call the Bulk Tenant Support Line at (855)326-5115. When more than two units on the property have called and reported issues, the field crew will deem it as an outage, and will send out technicians to work on getting the services restored. HECO:

There is a construction project currently in design that will address the outages your residents are experiencing.  The design is currently being circulated to the various utilities for their review and approval. Our consultant will be sending a set of plans for construction to you as soon as it is approved.  We have provided your contact information to Terilyn Watanabe with ParEn, Inc. In addition to the electrical and internet issues management has been informed about login conflicts with the Frontstep app. Frontstep is an app provided and managed by Hawaiiana Management Company for owners to access Kuapa Isle information as well as your payment portal if you have one set up. Below is an update on the login issue and how best to reach out to someone at Hawaiiana Management Company to assist with accessing your account.

KUAPA ISLE WEBSITE: (OWNERS ONLY)

Kuapa Isle FrontSteps website is undergoing changes.

Management has been informed that some owners have been experiencing issues logging into the Kuapa Isle website (www.kuapaisle.org). Frequent complaints have been accessing your account and being told your account has been suspended when it was working fine a few months ago. Management contacted Hawaiiana Management Company for clarification on the issue and was informed that the issue is due to the transition to a new homeowner portal made by Hawaiiana Management Company. This recent change has required owners to re-register themselves to the FrontSteps/Kuapa Isle website.

If you are experiencing this issue, you will need to reset  your account. Please go to the Kuapa Isle website at http://www.kuapaisle.org to re-register.

Please follow the “forgot password link” on the login page. This should prompt you to create a new password and complete the setup of your account.

If you continue to  experience issues after resetting your account. Please contact Hawaiiana Management Company; Payment Inquiry Department at paymentinquiry@hmcmgt.com or Kevin Hall, Hawaiiana Management Company, IT Manager at kevinh@hmcmgt.com.

Mahalo to those who have informed us of the issue. Hawaiiana Management Company manages the website for Kuapa Isle and all access concerns can be serviced by Hawaiiana Management Company.
